Day # 18 And I'm Feelin Goooood!

I woke up very early this morning feeling like myself 
Thank You GOD!
Today I instituted Chia seeds in my diet.
I put some in my yogurt before my workout and boy did it give me a boost of energy. 
I think I like it. 
A tip if you try Chia after your done with your meal you must brush your teeth and they swell and have a jelly like consistency which is good for the belly but not in your mouth. 
 I did 1½ hours of Kinect for XBox
Just Dance 3 
Wow I have most definitely lost my Mojo 
but I am determined to get it back.
Just call me Austin Powers

Day #16 Happy 1st day of Spring

Today is the first day of Spring 
Now... 
I'm starting to get happy for the warmer weather. 

Today I woke up feeling better not 100% but better.
I did Kinect for XBox


  1 ½ hours 
I was a Huffin and a Puffin and a Sweatin
Wow now that was a good workout and I'll be paying for it in the morning. 
Oh well a girls gotta do what a girls GOT TO DO! 
This workout will be added to my list. 
There will be no boredom here!

Day #14 & 15 Light Workout

Light... 
has been my word for the past two days.
I'm still feeling a bit under the weather and I'm not feeling like myself
but I am not letting that stop me. 
I'm doing what I call a light workout.
On the floor
A little Pilates and some Arm work with weights
I've been getting a dizzy when getting down and getting up from the floor and  
my ribs have been killing me also.
I think the rib pain is from all that throwing up I was doing on
Saturday night/Sunday morning
and I haven't had much of an appetite. 
I think its nothing but the Devil and some bug at work trying to keep me fat 
but you see I'm on to him and 
Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!   

I'm hoping to get back to it in full force ASAP!

Day #13 Under the weather today.

YUCK!
Under the weather today and I am not at all happy about it. 
I was up and down all night.
I threw up a few times and have no idea why?
I tired to at least stretch I got down on the floor and was so dizzy 
Nope...I got up slowly 
Done.

Day #9, 10 & 11 On a Mission!

I haven't been blogging for the last few days but I have been on it!
I made a decision about P90X 
I think it's best for me to get stronger before going all in and re-injuring myself 
Cuz...
Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!

I'll be doing a lot of Stretching, Pilates, K-Bell, Dancing & Jumping on the Trampoline 
until I get stronger my back, knees etc...  
Since making this decision I have been feeling pretty good. 
Although my back has been seizing up on me at night and the pain is pretty bad I have been moving thought it and I thank God I have pain meds.  

I'll be back to the PX90  it's just a matter of time

Day #6 Windsor Pilates X2

This morning I woke up feeling good Yes,
I'm still a bit sore but it not even close to how I was feeling on Friday. 
This is a very good thing!
I am so happy. 
So, I decided to do Windsor Pilates to give me a really good stretch. 
I was feeling good so I did it again. 
20mins X 2 = 40mins of Pilates  
Yay Me! 
This is a recipe made with Special K cereal I used Fiber One 80cal Honey Squares
Crush the Fiber One Honey Squares 
Dip the chicken breasts *(I used chicken tenderloins) 
in the EggBeaters or scrambled egg. 
Press into Fiber One to coat on both sides. 
Place on baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray 
*(I used Coconut oil) 
Bake at 375 for 20- 22 minutes or until juices run clear.

Low fat and low cal plus it was delicious!

Day #4 My body is begging me for mercy!!!

I'm so sore, achy and so very tired.
My Body is begging me for mercy! 
I went to bed at 3:45am and at 5:22am my sister woke me up because my nephews had yet another snow day.
That's right...I only slept for about 1½. I got up took some pictures of the snow

It's very pretty...NO? 
 Made breakfast for the boys, watched some early morning TV 
Well, hello there Good Morning America its been a while. 
It's so very nice to see you all again.
I finally found time to lock myself away to do my version of meditation 
5 to 10mins repeating  mantras over and over again, morning and night one of which is...
Please give me the will to exercise each and everyday!
I must say that this mantra seems to be working...For me!

Today I had a little help thank to my 7 year old nephew Matthew
(which made my workout so much fun and easier to get thru today)
He was so willing to do everything because he knew I was so tried and he wanted to help in anyway he could. 
I felt that I needed to take the time to really stretch and warm my muscles because 
of the soreness and you know that's when you could re injure yourself 
and I'm not having that cuz 
Ain't Nobody Got Time For That! 
 We stretched...well, I stretched. 
He really tried with every part of his 7 year old body to do all the stretches I was doing which was so cute.
He was supporting his Aunt Cyndi and that felt wonderful. 
After about 20 mins of stretching he looked at me and said "now"? 
"Now can we do the DVD"? I said "Sure baby I'm ready".
Today I decided to do Kelltlenetics A Kelltle Bell workout

My nephew hung in there with a little wrist weight I gave him to use I used the bell.
He kept up with the DVD and with me he was a little trooper.
I was breathing hard, he was breathing hard we were getting our workout on!
That was until we got to about the 20min mark that's when he turned to me and said "Aunt Cyndi is it almost over?" LOL I said "no baby we have about 10 more minutes or so to go, why"? His reply was "cuz I'm tried"! LOL I said you can stop but told him that I was going to finish. He left the room but, returned moments later with his IPad in hand. He sat down peeking up from his IPad ever so often to check on me.
He stayed with me until I was done.
I know...right...So sweet!!!!!!
 
 After I was done and breathing a bit harder...okay, okay much harder then before he asked "Are you okay Auntie"? I said "yes, baby I'm fine. I'm just out of shape that's all" LOL "Thanks for staying with me until I finished". 
He said "that's okay"! 
About 10 minutes later he came back in and looked me in my eyes holding his arms as if they had gotten bigger "Auntie I feel good!  Do you feel good"?
NOoooooooooooo!!!...No I wasn't
But, I didn't have the heart to tell him how I was really feeling 
My reply to him was Oh yes, Matthew (feeling my arms like he was feeling his) 
I'm feeling GOOD!
  

    20mins of Stretching...ahhhhhouch
    30mins of Kettlenetics...ouch, breath, ouch & ouch
Have the support of a 7 year old...
PRICELESS!!!!!

Day #3 It's time!

 I love to exercise. I love to exercise, I love to exercise, 
I LOVE TO EXERCISE! 
I believe it, I believe it, I BELIEVE IT!!!!...
Okay, here I go!!!!!
Last night night my muscles where not happy so today I had to take it slow, easy plus get a good workout in so I decided to mix it up a bit 
Pilates circle stretching 30mins ✔, P90X Kempo X 30mins ✔ & 
200 pilates circle situps ✔
Done! 



Wanna know a little secret about exercise? It gets easier, more fun and more rewarding as you go!

That's what everyone says! 
Exercising will get easier and I will start to love it?
Well, This is my third try at this over the last two years or so. I start and I get going for a few months and then I stop. I start again reinjure my back my knees and/or whatever else I have injured. I am praying and hoping with my fingers, legs and eyes crossed that this time it takes!
I read these nine 9 reason today. I will be re reading them each and everyday

Day #2 One day at a time!

Today was P90X Yoga X 
Easing back into my Fat Down Dog, forward to Fat Plank, then melting and pushing up to Fat Cobra, etc etc, all the way through my big fat trying to get my yoga flow on. Maybe one day I'll be able to do downplankcobradoglotusflowetc,etc poses 
and move through them gracefully and not look and feel like I have no idea what the hell I am doing.

Once I arouse from some Fat girl down pose I jumped on the trampoline 30mins ✔ 
I was feeling good until I got up from sitting for a while woking on the computer Ouch!...okay sore ouch, ouch, ouch but it's all good (I have to keep telling myself that) This soon will pass...right? Yes, yes of course it will 
OUCH!
